- Avoid actions that endanger others
Failure to comply may result in suspension or permanent account termination.
3. Safety Guidelines for Customers (Senders)
Customers are responsible for ensuring that tasks are safe, legal, and clearly described.
Customers must:
- Provide accurate task details (items, locations, instructions, budget)
- Use in-app communication only
- Avoid sharing sensitive information (passwords, OTPs, PINs)
- Verify runner or shopper identity before task handover
- Use platform-approved payment methods only
- Meet in public, well-lit locations when physical interaction is required
- Inspect items or services before confirming task completion
- Report suspicious behavior immediately
4. Safety Guidelines for Runners
Runners must prioritize personal safety and professionalism.
Runners must:
- Accept only tasks they understand and can safely complete
- Verify task details before starting
- Avoid unsafe or isolated locations
- Keep all communication within the platform
- Avoid paying out of pocket unless explicitly approved
- Respect customer property and privacy
- Deliver items or services exactly as requested
- Report unsafe situations or emergencies immediately
5. Safety Guidelines for Shoppers
Shoppers are expected to act responsibly when purchasing items on behalf of customers.
Shoppers must:
- Purchase only requested items in agreed quantities
- Confirm availability and price changes with customers before purchase
- Upload receipts when required
- Avoid illegal, counterfeit, or restricted items
- Handle goods carefully, especially fragile or perishable items
- Follow store, market, and transport safety rules
6. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Illegal goods or services
- Harassment, threats, or violence
- Fake deliveries or false task completion
- Identity impersonation
- Circumventing platform payments
- Abuse of refunds, disputes, or promotions
Violations may result in immediate suspension or legal action.
7. Payments, Escrow & Disputes
Escrow System
OrdVia uses a secure escrow system for all transactions:
- Customers (Senders) pay for tasks or shopping upfront
- Funds are held securely in escrow by OrdVia
- Payments are only released to the Runner or Shopper after:
- The task or shopping has been completed
- Delivery has been made
- The Customer confirms successful completion
This system helps protect Customers, Runners, and Shoppers from fraud or non-performance.
Payment Rules
- All payments must be made through the OrdVia platform
- Off-platform payments are not permitted and are not protected
- Cash payments outside OrdVia are strongly discouraged
Disputes
- If there is an issue with a task or delivery, Customers must raise a dispute before confirming completion
- OrdVia may review chats, receipts, delivery proof, and activity logs
- OrdVia reserves the right to hold, release, partially release, or refund escrowed funds based on findings
- OrdVia’s decision on disputes is final
8. Emergency Situations
If any user feels unsafe:
- Leave the area immediately
- Contact platform support
- Contact local emergency services if necessary
The platform may temporarily suspend tasks during investigations.

OrdVia acts as a marketplace and escrow facilitator, connecting independent users. OrdVia does not directly perform errands or shopping and is not responsible for the actions of users. Users participate at their own risk and agree to exercise reasonable judgment and caution.
